This time around, our Italian element is hosted only by Milan for a single night.
We needed to return our car lease back to the European mainland and Milan proved the winner!
We also need to tie this into our next stage of the trip, Greece, and had two options; Milan or Rome. Milan had a greater choice of companies flying to Kefalonia (2 compared to 1) and hence Milan was chosen.
We will depart our overnight ferry in Savona, Italy, before driving up to Milan.
Spending only and afternoon and an evening, we will visit only two sites; Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and Milan Cathedral.
